The preparation is extremely important, the depth has to be deep enough to provide a good base.

Once the area has been dug out and leveled, hard core is laid, imapacted and leveled.

Any drainage is incorporated. A weed free membrane is installed.

Sharp sand is laid, leveled and impacted.

Block pave edgings are laid in a choice of colours, to contrast or compliment the main block pave driveway.

Once the block paving has been laid, kiln dried sand is brushed into the joints between the blocks, and impacted.

The kiln dried sand, gives the blocks more stability and allows for natural movement, protecting the blocks when vehicles drive and park on the area.
